Now we are taking things a step further again – by engaging a top scientist as our patient care manager – please welcome our Dr. Matthias Held!
You may wonder why we chose a scientist for this incredibly important position – not exactly a conventional choice, right?
Well, let’s start at the beginning:
1) In year one we focused on collecting all treatments that were showing results for our patient population in one location here in Larnaca (and sorted those that didn’t work out again). More Info on that you find here
2) In year two we focused on diagnostics – all the research lab tests that did show different results in our patient population (unlike the results from most clinical laboratories). More Info on that you find here
3) In year three we focused on improving our treatment schedule algorithms. More Info on that you find here
4) And now? We are focusing on the patient experience and journey. And you guessed right – for that you need an expert. But a scientist – really?
感谢！马蒂亚斯-黑尔德（Matthias Held）博士近二十年来一直致力于研究如何优化知识的收集和最大化利用，并重点关注这些知识的实际可用性。他拥有柏林工业大学科学研究博士学位。
他身兼科学负责人和病人护理经理（这是一个非常不寻常的组合，对吧？）双重身份，两边的工作内容完全不同，他试图实现两个世界之间的协同效应，造福于我们的病人。
作为病人护理经理，他试图充分理解慢性病患者在临床治疗过程中的巨大复杂性（作为曾经的患者，他在进一步优化这种方法方面也有着与没有亲身经历的人截然不同的见解）。
他不仅将利用这些知识在我们的诊所设计出完美的患者旅程和患者体验，还将把这些知识注入新的人工智能驱动和生物追踪相关研究的设计中，这些研究涉及我们的治疗方法以及用这些方法治疗的各种慢性疾病。
